What We Believe

Our Church Family

The Cedar Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church is a country church that has members from all over southwest Washington. One of our greatest goals is that we seek to be a warm loving family that uplifts Jesus as our Lord, Savior, and Friend.

We seek to try and be there for each other, supporting each other through difficult times. We also seek to be accepting, authentic, and genuine in our relationships with one another. We want our members and visitors to know that they are loved and valued because Jesus loves and values each one of us.

Seventh Day Adventist Beliefs

Seventh-day Adventist Christians accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians. Currently, Adventist Christians hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories—the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life and last day events. In each teaching, God is the architect, who in his wisdom, grace and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
